Jealousy Poem

 LI: To write an abstract noun sentence

An abstract noun is something that can’t be physically touched, as in a feeling (happiness, fear, love, etc) also the 5 senses. This week, LS2 have been learning about Metaphors and Nouns. We got into groups and were introduced  on what is nouns , what we see in the poem ( The Structure) and the 5 senses. Our group created a Metaphor about happiness; Happiness is the blooming rainbow that shines when the sun comes out after the rain. A Metaphor is a comparison of two things without using ‘like’ or ‘as’. We created our own poem as a group about Jealousy.

For writhing we had to make and play for Mr Wrong reading group our play  
had to be interesting so people in our group can vote  of witch recount do we 
want to use so then voted on one person to share our ideas to the class it was a play about a girls who scream because there was and beehive in her trees house

LI: To learn how to make interesting sentences.

This week we learnt how to make Boring sentence into very Interesting sentences For an example you start of with, I was in my room for 20 minutes then you could make it Interesting like, This morning i stayed in my room cold on my bed for 20 boring minutes Because of last night.

Recount

LI: To plan and write a recount
This week for witting we had a head start. We were given a number, our number was 2.Then we had to write things that go together with the number for example February is the 2nd month, 1+1=2, 2 eyebrows etc. After we had to write a list on what we did in the holidays trying to use the same technique as the number activity, which was just getting every idea out first. We used TREE to write a structure of a recount. TREE stands for Title,Reveal,Events,Ending

This week for Writing we had to make a google draw then we had to copy and past our line tag or Whanau and Family time then we had to put arrows pointing where TREE go. Then we had to highlight Exciteing vocabs green then we need to color punctuation in red.

This week for writing we had to make a google Doc. Then we had 40 minutes to write about the game we played after lunch on Tuesday we had to wrte something about line tag and using some of the 5 Ws. Then Mr Ogilvie told us that we have 40 minutes on Writing again. We had to make our second writing better that our first writing.
