Four questions


L.l Link to my maths questions Today for math we did four questions.Then we had to write question about maths solving and you have to get some photos off what the question your doing then after you have to re look at it if to makes sentence of if it doesn't make sentence you have to re do it again.

    Greetings Hosea
    The first answer was: 12. I counted in 3's.
    The second answer was: 110. I added the 1 to the 9 to the 20.
    The third answer was: 1/8th. I had the fraction and took away 1/2 then a 1/4 then it came up with a 1/8.
    The last question was 77. I had the 111 and then took away 34 then it ended up with 77.

    HI Hosea
    1. I found the answer by counting in six's for the first.
    2. I added the one to the nine and the eighty to the twenty.
    3. I imagined to slice the pie into half then quarter soon one eighth.
    4. I took ten from the thirty four and used it to take away ten from 111 so now it is 101 then took 1 from the 4 on 34 so it is 23 and the 1 i took and took away 1 from 101 now it is 100 then i used 20 from 23 to take away 20 form 100 to make is 80 the i used the 3 from 23 to take 3 away from 80 to make the answer 77.
    That is the way i got it and did it

    Kia ora Lukah and Hosea,

    I have answered your questions. For question 1 I counted in 3’s. For question 2 I added 80 to 20 to make 100 then I added 9 to 1 to make 10 now I add them together it is 110. For question 3 I imagined slicing it into triangles. For question 4 I took the 31 and took away 31 from 111 so it’s 80 then I then I took the 3 left from the 34 to take away 3 from 80.

    I got the aunwers (I think)

    Number one is 12 how did i get it well I just skiped counted in 3's

    Number two is 110 how did I get it well I know that 80 + 20 is 100 so then I justed added 10 to make a 110

    Number three is 1/2 becuse you just said it in the text

    Number four is 77 how? i did it like this
    110 - 30 = 90 ( so far )

    1 - 4 = -3 (negatave 3)

    = 77
