Nelson Mandela

LI: To learn about Nelson Mandela.
This week for inquiry we had to make a slide presentation and we had to pick a protester. My group picked Nelson Mandela because we think that he was a brave person to stand up for the black community also the other protesters like martin luther king Jr. So we had to find what was his hobby what did he like when was he born and where. So we had to find out what he was fighting for which was for the black community to be treated the same.

Today was was doing the summer learning journey. The task i did was to find 3 facts from a Website then write it in your own words. Then we have to blog it.  

Kiwi can

Today at kiwi can we had Miss peel and Miss paige. Then we all lined up in 4 lines then we had to learn 3 different fracases also we had to 2 time to know it by heart. i learnt that respecting our community is like your home, library,shopping center. or other places around you or your school.

Athletics Day

This week some people from Ls1 and 1s2 and room 5. went to a tournament against other schools like point England school and Tamaki primary and other schools. The tournament t i was in shot put. The schools that was there was Point England Panmure district.

Notes  This week we had to make a google doc with notes about what we found out about Nelson Mandela.  We picked Nelson Mandela because most of the people in my group looked up to him for the great things he did

Kiwi sport

Today was our last session for boxing with pax. The first move we did was Jab cross bridge cross. Then we did jab jab cross left hook roll the left hook again. After that we did 10 punches when we were finish we had to do one burpey then we had to carry on doing the same thing.

Place value

LI: to identify the values of individual numerals.
This week for math we did place value we had to look at numbers 100, 10, 1 , 1000, 100. We uesd the place value abacus. Then i put the blue boxes in the place value abacus after that i had to put the Numbers in the place value boxes.
