Venn Diagram

LI: to create a DLO of tool for harvesting.

In this Venn Diagram it shows how people used to celebrate matariki, how people celebrate matariki now and how do now and then do the same thing. I worked with Heavenly and Liletina as a group and we found information about what people do on matariki now days. As we created this I learned some new interesting facts about matariki such as maori people make things out of flax like kites.

Patupaiarehe and the Mountains

LI: To learn about patupaiarehe are faires and geography of Aotearoa.  

Patupaiarehe are faries that live in forests. and have magic powers like super strength and curse people. the Patupaiarehe  we learnt about today live on mountains. we learnt about myths and legends by listing to the story of ihenga and searching for information,and using google maps.

This week for Maori we had to get into partner my partner was juel. Then we had to make a line  then miss whire odie told us to make a link then she numbed us 1 to 15. Me and  my partner was 7 seven was cabbage kale celery. Then we had to make a google drawing. About putting down how to say cabbage  Kale and celery. Then we had to pronounce it properly Then we had  to blog it

This week for Maori we played a Whai  we had to make different kid off them. We had to our teacher could fireodie. We had to do the para-shoot that was so easy. We also can do the diamond to any number to 1 to 10. If we picked it up then we shaow other people.

This week for Maori we made fishes with paper strips. We had to watch a video on how to do the fish. So then we all worked hard on making it for matariki. Then we had to make a star but we had to no time.

Today we did a Maori lesson.first we had to do the role.then she told us to go on computer then we go on the Maori dictionary then we had to this song we had to put that Maori words in English then we had to go on the google sheet and put all the words in Maori words then we had to translate all those feeling on the side on the Maori words you did.
