Basic facts
Basic facts helps me learn my Addition, Subtraction,Division it also helps when some one tells me a math equation then i could say the answer fast.

In this extra literacy task we could either pick to make a kahoot or an animation based around the
rugby world cup and rugby history. e.g Where would the next rugby world cup be held?
It was an option to use a true or false question or/and multiple answers on a kahoot. Unfortunately
we couldn't make it public because we are students so we just took a screenshot them.

Last week of swimming
LI: To learn how to stay alive and float in life jackets.
This week was our final swimming session of the term. We had combined groups and wore life jackets. We have been learning about how we could stay alive in the deep water. We had to Make a chain and try to turn and swim with the chain. We also had to tuck our knee into our stomach we also had to pencil dive into the pool wants we were done we had to Jump in the pool and high five the instructors

Time past and future
LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
In this extra math RWC tasks
we have been researching and finding information about the Time, Past & Future for RWC. We had to answer different questions about the time,past & future. e.g When will the 11th RWC will be held? and how old we would be when it is held? Each rugby world cup happens four years after each other. We used a pencil and paper to calculate when they were going to happen.

in this literacy task we had to use your literacy and researching skills and find information about the rugby event and write what happened on the day the date of when it happened and what kind of event it was. The three events that we used were RWC 2011, RWC 2015, and RWC 2019 and we found videos about what happened in the event.

RWC Match making
LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
Blurb:This week we have been combining all of numeracy and literacy skills to complete multiple tasks about the RWC this year. For this literacy task we had to match a player in the rugby world cup to a position that they play. We had to add pictures to show the players and some facts about the players. e.g Richie Mcaw played as a flanker in the All Blacks and also was the first ever All Black to reach 100 caps.
Simple machines
L.I to make a Rube Goldberg machine with the six simple machines.
For Inquiry we were challenged to build a similar machine as Rube Goldberg. A challenge was you had to use one of the simple machines which are Incline Plane, Pulley, Screw, Wheel and Axle and a Lever. My groups challenge was to try to turn on the chromebook. Our Machine had included, Levers, Incline Plane and a screw. We had also used parts of our bodys to finish of the machine. Our machine was successfully working. The materials that we had used were Cardboard(for Incline Plane), Domino's, Pan Balance, Marbles and books.
The biggest challenges we had to face was trying to get the materials to stay up still and trying to figure out what's gonna happen next.
I think if we were to do this again I would've bought more materials and incorporated more and included others ideas.

Places to visit in japan
We had a inquiry task it was to find places to visit in japan, we had to use out researching skills to add facts about the place and also write why we would want to go there, we also had to find 5 places to visit in japan, the five we picked were Osaka , Mt Fuji , Sapporo , Kyoto , Tokyo.
World time

Today we have been using numeracy and literacy skills to complete task RWC for this year. We had to find time zones in japan and around the world.We had to convert times to AM and PM, AM Is at Morning, and PM is in the night. We used the site Time converter, We also showed the 24 hour time for some countries.

We learnt how to face challenges and experience/attempted them. We looked at 3 different types of challenges and wrote about our feelings when we face those challenges. We figured out coping strategies in groups of three.

Bombs Grids
For maths we had to work out to find a successful path, without touching the bombs. We used arrows to show the successful path.Also we had to explain in sentences to make a successful path just like coding.These sentences needed to explain how the arrows move. We used Turn,Rotate 1/4 or 90, we also used clockwise or anticlockwise, Slide down ,Slide up,Slide right,Slide left

Flip, Rotation, and Translation
LI:What is Flip, Rotation, and Translation
Were were Leaning about Flip, Rotation, and Translation Flip is to turn over with a quick move, Rotate to move round like a circle,Translation is to slide and object. We had to use the google drawing and use our triangles that we cut i made mine using the shape on the google draw, We also had to make take a photo of your self with your hand next to your ear. Then flip it and rotate it and Translate it.
