Maori

For the First activity,we had to watch two videos. In the videos they showed people talking to each other in Maori.e.g ko wai te papa max,we also had to say kuia whiches Grandmother old lady koro Grandpa old man mama mom , papa dad



Kiwican

This week for kiwi can we had to been learning  about respect, For this kiwi can session we had to get in two groups we had Ms mac and Mr cemanu one group went over with mis mac then went out the Theater what we did with mr cemanu was challenges it was 3 challenges we had to find a partner then go back to back then try get up, Is was really hard to get up, Then we had to get in a big circle then we hooked our arms with each other then we had to try get up, After that we had to make a pyramid with our bodies.

Maths



LI: identify the number before and after numbers from 100-1000

We were leaning how to rounding numbers , e.g what if i measure my pencil then it goes over 12 then you then you round the number back to 12, If it goes near the 12 then you round the number up so it is 12. We were given ten pencils each we had to measure them all then we had to put the results in our math book. Then we had to go to the other groups then copy there rustles.

Basic facts

Basic facts helps me learn my Addition, Subtraction,Division it also helps when some one tells me a math equation then i  could say the answer fast.

Kahoot | History of rugby.

LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.


In this extra literacy task we could either pick to make a kahoot or an animation based around the
rugby world cup and rugby history. e.g Where would the next rugby world cup be held?
It was an option to use a true or false question or/and multiple answers on a kahoot. Unfortunately
we couldn't make it public because we are students so we just took a screenshot them.


Last week of swimming

LI: To learn how to stay alive and float in life jackets.

This week was our final swimming session of the term. We had combined groups and wore life jackets. We have been learning about how we could stay alive in the deep water. We had to Make a chain and try to turn and swim with the chain. We also had to tuck our knee into our stomach we also had to pencil dive into the pool wants we were done we had to Jump in the pool and high five the instructors

Time past and future

LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC. In this extra math RWC tasks

we have been researching and finding information about the Time, Past & Future for RWC. We had to answer different questions about the time,past & future. e.g When will the 11th RWC will be held? and how old we would be when it is held? Each rugby world cup happens four years after each other. We used a pencil and paper to calculate when they were going to happen.
